My camera sucks (1 megapix) but here's a few pics of the I/C's with the necks and tank cut off. I tried to take some close ups of the end of the I/C showing the bar and plate endcap and the frontal area. The I/C's were painted by Blackstone for use by Ford. I used aircraft paint stripper and removed the paint from the core section only. When completed I'll refinish and paint everything but the core section. Took them into the sheetmetal shop at work and used the bandsaw to remove the tank and necks. Then used the belt sander to straighten it all out and knock down the original welds. Then off to the engine shop for degreasing, submerged them in safetyclean and let em soak for a few minutes. Then the rinse and blow dry. They didn't really need anymore than an alcohol bath but just wanted to make sure the cores were clean. Next weekend I'll put the car up on stands and pull the fascia for fitting and pipe placement.
